New Season Clothing

Oh boy, I love those lovely people at Quido Collars- I promise I get no free dog biscuits for saying this. It is my own free will and testimony - I swear on my waggy tail.
Today I got a parcel and it is the most bootiful collar in the whole wide dogworld. I might save wearing it til I get my winter coat shorn ...but oh I LOVE THIS THANG!
Here’s me opening my present...

Thank you Szilvia and all at Quido Petz - Makers of fine dog attire for the discerning pooch!

Say Cheese

I don't know why the staff were so darn interested in me and my new toy today. Here I am trying to get a bit of peace and quiet with the Furrbly PinkSqueak thing I found on the kitchen floor ...but all I get is one of my staff flashing away with her camerabob all afternoon like there's no tomorrow. I'll never understand hoomans. Ah well, back to business...

The the the the that's all folks!

Post-Op Purple Pants

Poor little Dylan Dog was neutered today. The vet was lovely and adores the little fella so he was in very safe hands. He came out of the operation fine - a little woozy then slept for a few hours before waking up at 10pm and whining the whole night, completely disoriented. It's a big deal for a little puppy boy but I'm sure he will be back to normal soon and tearing around the place once more. I bought him a 'get well soon' squeaky toy and he managed to chew the ears off it immediately - I think that's a good sign.

Our vet doesn't like to use the 'lampshade-head' apparatus for dogs unless she absolutely has to so sent me off to buy some children's boxer shorts for the little pupster this afternoon! They cover the wound and are meant to stop him licking at it. I'm not sure Dylan is impressed with this new look- I could only find purple 'Hannah Montana' ones to fit him - I think he would have much preferred 'Ben 10s'.

New Collar - Again

I got in trouble at puppy school last week for still having a 'puppy collar' on Dylan. The trouble is I've been holding out for a a new snazzy 'welsh terrier' collar and lead set from America - it finally arrived today courtesy of Lesley from the Welsh Terrier Association (thanks Lesley!) You might actually be able to see more of the collar next week as Dylan is finally due for his very first proper haircut. Pictures of the newly coiffed pupster will appear here shortly after the event.
Oh, perhaps unsurprisingly... while I was trying to get a close up photo of the lead, Dylan had other ideas....

New Gear

Having lost Dylan's black puppy lead for about the 100th time yesterday, off we popped to the pet shop to get him measured up for a new collar and lead . He was cool as a cucumber while the shop lady measured us up but has done nothing but try and eat his new lead ever since. Collar working a treat though and sets off Dylan's roguish scruffbag looks well! Quite jaunty in fact.

Don't be fooled by these photos- I had to take about 45 pictures to get these as he's jumping about the kitchen like zebedee tonight but doesn't want to go out in the rain. Off to the park we go.... must not give in!

He's a baby

I took Dylan to the park last night for his final walk of the day. There was a big gang of teenager girls going past and they all became very excited gathering around Dylan shouting "here's a puppy"and "he's a baby, he's a baby!" at the top of their voices much to Dylan's excitement.

I carried on trying to drag Dylan past and it was only when I finally got away and saw what he had in his mouth that it all began to make sense!

The little scavenger is inseparable from his latest treasure - I fear it won't last the afternoon...
