Birthday Fun!

I got to go to my pal Jody's birthday party -and guess what? Her little girl pupster , the beautiful Rosie, was still there and I got to run around with her. How cool is that? And then.... my pal Dooley turned up too. Here we all are - Square Dogs Galore.........

Cool Dooley

Little Rosie, Pupster extraordinaire!

Chewing the grass

Oops- I think she overdid it

Dooley supervised the party from his patrol point on the sunbed

But now and again he fell asleep

And that's when me and Jody got the tug rope out !

And mingled...

Even little Rosie showed her wild side. Look at her trying to steal QuackDuck - the little minx!

And here she is feigning a faint ....ok Rosie, you can have QuackDuck...Rosie?
"Someone call the Pup-a-Medics please!"

Hold it everyone.... Dooley's awake again  - back to your Calm-Stations!

That includes you Rosie! Stand up girl....

Phew....I think we got away with it.

Happy Birthday Jody- you throw the BEST Welshie parties!

Dylan and the Pack

Me and my pal Eddi get to go for very long walks now and again when my lazy staff are 'too busy' (hmphh) to take me out!

Actually ...I secretly love going out with the Edster and my other big dog pooch pals. Here we all are ....

Me and Eddi had a 'Tug of Stick' contest...

He gave up in the end - but it took a while. Determined little critter isn't he!
All in a days work for the Stickmaster General

Dylan & Noodles Go Mad on the Beach

Here's me and my new best friend Noodles enjoying a day on the beach

The staff say he's almost as handsome as me....no way! *sulks*

I showed Noodles how to walk on walls.....

How to beg for liver cake...

How to get rid of flying wabbits....

and how to pose for the camera.....

Then we had a good old game of tug

And a chase around on our lovely flying wabbit free beach!

Until we were too tired to run anymore..... almost!

Noodles,Noodles,oh Super Noodles
We love your cute black nose
We're glad you've found your forever home
And ....
Can we come and visit soon?

 *canine poetry doesn't rhyme*

All Day Play!

What a  great weekend- my new pals Harvey and Maddy came all the way down from the North to see me (well, they said something about a 'family do' but we ALL know the real reason they came South!). H & M PointerLabbys are just pupsters at 8 months old but they are bigger than me already - they might get to be real live giants when they grow up! Here they are- their coats are so glossy they made the staff-cam go all  funny - ha ha!

We went for a really long walk with my two staff and their pinky friend,Sally- I think they were very glad to only have 1 of us each. Those Pointers can pull and I'm not bad either given half the chance.

Once the staff got tired we all went off to the pub and a lovely man gave me loads of biscuits. I love Saturday afternoon in the pub and after a walk down the prom. Here's us dogs with one of the staff - this was just before we tipped over the table...only joking (we tried but it was too heavy!)

Then we all went back to my house and had bones! Here's me and Maddy having a good chew on ours

Then here's me just having a little look to see if I can get me another bone.... from right under Maddy's nose ... who wouldn't?

And here's what happened next!

But we were all friends again in the end!

Thanks for coming to see me H & M  PointerLabbys - I'm going to get my little winter scarf out and come and see up north just as soon as I can !

Dylan & Eddie Go Mad in the Garden

My new best puppy-pal Eddie came over today

Boy did we have fun. That little furry wonder was desperate to get his little puppy teeth on my toys but I ran REALLY fast (and now and again gave him one of my special 'bottom shoves' to put him off ). The staff took turns taking movie pictures and chasing us about. Well, at least it tires them out. They should sleep well tonight.

Oh we had fun fun fun .....can he come again soon please mum ....pleassssssseeeee!

Eddie's staff member was especially good with the camera - I think she caught our best side here...

Dylan, Jody & the Great Duck Caper

I nicked a furry duckster off my new friend Jody yesterday - she was very determined to get it back. Look at that little diva go!  Don't think she counted on my super speed and clever half-turns!

When Dylan Met Eddie

Dylan met his new puppy friend Eddie today:

Eddie is only around 8 weeks old and has just landed in his fabulous new home around the corner from us - he's absolutely gorgeous. The pair of them had a good old run around before settling down to eat chewsticks.

If only it were always this peaceful !
...I turned the sound off ; )

Wired Haired Fox Terrier Walk 2010

Our 2nd year at the Fox Terrier run in Brighton today.... lots of lovely wire haired terriers everywhere, a smooth haired one, Irish Terriers and 4 of the Welsh Terrier Association's (WELTAF) finest ...PLUS a very loud barkfest as we gathered at the start. Glad I wasn't down there for a peaceful cup of coffee and read of the newspaper. No umbrellas needed despite the poster....beautiful sunny day and a great time was had by all as we wandered along the cliff walk then chilled out on the beach in the sun watching a load of wire haired fellas having a good old paddle.

Dooley, Jody and Dylan AKA Stealth Warrior watching from behind

Dylan and his glamorous new 'friend' Jody
(actually she wasn't too keen but as ever Dylan ignored that!)

Dylan and his old friend Dooley

Dylan says hello to the Wires...

Special thanks to James who allowed Dylan to jump all over him - what sport for the little Welsh Pupster ! Ears to snuffle and a teenager to tussle with - a perfect day.

Dylan meets Dooley

We've had such a lovely day- Karen and her gorgeous grown up Welsh Terrier, Dooley, came to visit and we spent the day at the park. Dooley used to be little rascal like Dylan when he was a pup but is now a completely mellow and lovely dog - there is hope for Dylan yet! It was wonderful to see them playing together and Dooley even got quite protective, giving any other dog who gave Dylan a hard time a little swipe with his elegant paws. Dylan learnt lots from his new 'big brother' - sadly one thing was how to run up the stairs at home .... but in Dylan's case he doesn't know how to get down!  Another stairgate on the way!
Thanks Karen for coming to see us and sharing all your tips. And thanks to Dooley for putting up with all the ear pulling and toy stealing!
