My Family

Ah at last, the staff have found time to help me get me latest shots for the family album up on the dogblog...

Me, my mum and my bruv Hudson had a terrier gathering with out 'first family' in Hampshire a couple of weeks back. Oh boy, I love that garden! Lots of adventures -I remember the day when I was less than 7 weeks old and managed to unclick a little kitty door and get myself free from my bruvs and sis. What a day!
And then there was another time when I visited when I got a chickadee right in my old gnashers

And here I am again seeing my brother Hudson for the very first time since we left our 'first family'. Look at this fella....

Yeah, I know. Looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth...but guess what?  He's just like me!

Loves the camera ....

And LOVES going crazy in gardens ....

Here's our mum Darcy keeping an eye on us too!

It wasn't all fun though. Me and my bruv didn't reall impress mum when we started to nick all of her toys....

Cor....have you ever seen so many fluffy things waiting to have their stuffing taken out? This is going to take AGES!

My and my bruv started fighting over our favourites...

He's a strong puppy boy!

But I won of course!

We left a bit of a mess behind....

But I think Mum will forgive us. Boys will be boys !

Me, Hudson and Mum say THANKS TO OUR STAFF for letting us have such a fantastic day ! And ahem..... me and Hudson are sorry for our noisy scrapping. It's just our terrier-tastic way!

Hope we can all get together again soon !

Dylan Uncut....

Well it's more 'cut' actually!

A whole day in Hampshire - coat stripping for the afternoon with super Welsh Terrier Specialist Joan then a visit to his mum and 'first family'. Joan 'the stripper' said Dylan was 'magnificent' - she knows her stuff so that's high praise and we were rather chuffed... I think Dylan already believed he was magnificent anyway - now he has confirmation there is going to be no living with him.

After an afternoon at Joan's we then collected the 'suddenly skinny' fella and drove off to see the 'first family' for a fantastic run around with the 2 dogs followed by an amazing curry! Thanks to Julie, Gordon, Jess and Callum for giving Dylan the opportunity to rough and tumble with his mum and explore his first home again - he's been exhausted ever since!

Here's some pictures...

Dylan takes a break from his 'Urban Urchin' look to become a 'Lean Mean Rabbiting Machine'. It's SO this season...

Studying the neighbours rabbits...

Spot the ball - it's all a blur...

Half time break

2nd half kick off

Dylan collapsed on the kitchen floor later that evening ...couldn't even make it to his crate

And now for the movies...

'Do you like my new haircut Mum?'

"What a fantastic day. First I get rid of my shaggy dog look (although frankly, there was no need to tear my coat right off of me!) and meet a lovely new lady friend called Joan . Then I get to go for a big runaround with my mum Darcy and see my old puppy house. "

"I nearly caught a chicken again in the garden but those darn humans are too quick. Here's me and mum keeping an eye on things. Just one quick pounce and I'll have a lovely supper. "

"Not sure what all this sniffing is about but thought I'd better join in"

"Camouflage Welshies - watch out wabbits!"

Darcy watches on while Dylan...well....does a Dylan!

Darcy wins the race....if only Dylan hadn't tripped at that first fence!

Mother and Son

We visited Dylan's mum, Darcy, and family today in Hampshire. Dylan was good as gold as ever in the car with only the occasional squeak from his toy dinosaur to be heard. Once there, he had a crazy afternoon running around at 100 mph and causing havoc in his lovable Dylan Dog way. He really loved having so many people fussing around him and a whole house to explore. Puppy heaven.

Darcy looked really wonderful and has fully recovered from having all those naughty puppies running around a few months ago. She is such a chilled out dog. We were amazed to see that Dylan at 5 months is just about as tall as Darcy already...is it possible we've been sold an Airedale by mistake?

Darcy and Dylan had some good runs around the garden which was a joy to see. Unfortunately we had to cut this short when Dylan took a fancy to the chickens.... see the video. He may not ever have actually gone in for the chomp but he does love roast chicken and I fancy he caught a scent of it when he sniffed the feathered birds! All in all he had a wonderful time springing around his long lost 'first family' and chewing on everyone's ears at every opportunity. He even found time to run upstairs a couple of times in search of the family cats. Needless to say, the little pupster is now flat out in front of the TV and can't even find the energy to gnaw at his favourite rug!

Thanks Julie,Gordon ,Callum, Jessica and Darcy for a lovely visit - we hope to see you all again soon!
