Dylan and Eddi go mad in Hove

Here's me and the Edster sitting nicely for the staff - only 'cos she was dangling liver cake above the camera! Me and Eds had a fab day though .....all of my favourite things!

Hanging Out

Chewing Chewsticks ( but best keep to my own in future!)

Wrestling

Cor blimey....I'm shattered now. Can he come back tomorrow?

My Family

Ah at last, the staff have found time to help me get me latest shots for the family album up on the dogblog...

Me, my mum and my bruv Hudson had a terrier gathering with out 'first family' in Hampshire a couple of weeks back. Oh boy, I love that garden! Lots of adventures -I remember the day when I was less than 7 weeks old and managed to unclick a little kitty door and get myself free from my bruvs and sis. What a day!
And then there was another time when I visited when I got a chickadee right in my old gnashers

And here I am again seeing my brother Hudson for the very first time since we left our 'first family'. Look at this fella....

Yeah, I know. Looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth...but guess what?  He's just like me!

Loves the camera ....

And LOVES going crazy in gardens ....

Here's our mum Darcy keeping an eye on us too!

It wasn't all fun though. Me and my bruv didn't reall impress mum when we started to nick all of her toys....

Cor....have you ever seen so many fluffy things waiting to have their stuffing taken out? This is going to take AGES!

My and my bruv started fighting over our favourites...

He's a strong puppy boy!

But I won of course!

We left a bit of a mess behind....

But I think Mum will forgive us. Boys will be boys !

Me, Hudson and Mum say THANKS TO OUR STAFF for letting us have such a fantastic day ! And ahem..... me and Hudson are sorry for our noisy scrapping. It's just our terrier-tastic way!

Hope we can all get together again soon !

Dylan & Eddie Go Mad in the Garden

My new best puppy-pal Eddie came over today

Boy did we have fun. That little furry wonder was desperate to get his little puppy teeth on my toys but I ran REALLY fast (and now and again gave him one of my special 'bottom shoves' to put him off ). The staff took turns taking movie pictures and chasing us about. Well, at least it tires them out. They should sleep well tonight.

Oh we had fun fun fun .....can he come again soon please mum ....pleassssssseeeee!

Eddie's staff member was especially good with the camera - I think she caught our best side here...

Dylan at Ditchling - Antics with Sticks

And so it begins - the tale of two sticks

The big race: Welsh V Small Human ....Welsh wins

The big fight: Welsh V Collie...Welsh wins

(Postscript: seconds later, clever collie sneaks over and takes the stick back back - this part of the film remains unpublished to maintain Dylan's pride.

When Dylan Met Eddie

Dylan met his new puppy friend Eddie today:

Eddie is only around 8 weeks old and has just landed in his fabulous new home around the corner from us - he's absolutely gorgeous. The pair of them had a good old run around before settling down to eat chewsticks.

If only it were always this peaceful !
...I turned the sound off ; )

Brothers in Arms

Dylan met his little brother Alfie today for the first time since we brought him home. Alfie and his 'staff' were visiting from the Midlands - what a treat for Dylan and a fantastic time was had by all !

Alfie is a gorgeous little fella and showed the little scrufster Dylan up with his perfect grooming. Oh dear - we've still got 6 weeks to Dylan's next strip session ... it's not going to be pretty! Where's that comb?

Here they are....

Kev bonds with Alfie.....Dylan looks on in disgust...

As expected , there was a lot of boxing and grappling between these 2 little terriers. Dylan was more of a 'heavyweight' at a full 4k heavier than Alfie (gulp!) but the little Alferama put up a proper fight in the ring...no 'knockouts' or 'pindowns' for Dylan today. Alfie is also a force to be reckoned with and must have remembered Dylan's antics from their litter days! A good old wrestle to warm them up on a freezing March day.

Thanks to Alfie and 'staff' for coming to see us-we look forward to catching up again !

Lab V Welshy - Round 3 'The Final'

Oh and he's done it ! The little scamp goes in for the pin-down and wins a clear surrender from the lily-livered lab.

Dynamo Dylan is the winner of the 2009 Puppy Wrestler Cup !

Lab V Welshy - Round 2

He's fighting back.... the little scamp's 'killer jump' throws his opponent. There's nothing between these little pupsters now .....it's going to be a fantastic final!

Lab V Welshy - Round 1

Welcome to the Puppy Wrestling Tournament 2009. Coming to you from Puppy Park Brighton on a beautiful day with our 2 competitors raring to go!

Round 1
Lab uses brute force and body weight to pin down the little scamp but surely there's more to come from this plucky little terrier....

Bank Holiday Play Fest

What a lovely Bank Holiday it has been. Apart from this morning when it poured down first thing, we've had sun, sun, sun and Dylan has had a fun packed weekend.

Damian and Steve came to stay this weekend for Festival jaunts in the spiegletent - Damian is a complete dog whisperer and Dylan thought he was completely fabulous and sprang all over him at every opportunity giving us a lovely break from ankle biting - Thanks Damien! You can see their emotional goodbyes above.

We also took advantage of the nice weather and took Dylan up to the lilac park again today where he made lots of new dog friends. Dylan especially liked the lovely little Staffie pup who was exactly the right size to have wrestling matches with... unlike the standard poodle and Husky - he was outclassed by their long legs pretty quickly ! And here he is competing for Kev's attention with a little and very hot Westy-Scotty cross .....  guess who had chicken in his pocket?

Dylan - The Freedom to Walk Tour

I took Dylan to this amazing 'puppy play area' yesterday. It's a large area of parkland with one of the biggest collection of lilacs in the world. A huge area of the park has been surrounded by fencing to prevent rabbits attacking the lilacs and, in an amazingly dog friendly initiative, the council have agreed that residents can use this area for puppy play. It's completely fenced in and only used by dog owners - what a stunning place!

It was a gorgeous day yesterday and Dylan was able to run around having a manic time with other pups and dogs without any fear of him doing his houdini act and never being seen again. Here he is with his Cairn Terrier friend....
