Happy Bark-day to Me!

It's my 3rd birthday at last. It's been AGES since I got any presents but boy oh boy, I got some today!!!!!

I even got a a pressie AND CARD ( take note staff!) off my lovely Downs Dog Walker Shona the Honoury Super Dogster.

It looks like a xmas cracker ! Well it did...

And I got a big yellow bone ! It was called ruff and tuff but believe me that was mislabelling if ever I saw it - don't mention it to the staff. They are a bit sensitive about my enthusiasm!

AND I got a duck- it was a quacking duck without stuffing (a cunning trick by the staff) ....well it was for a little while. Minutes later it was quackerless. That makes it....well, a bit of fluffy material with eyes. But I LOVE it! I carry it around til it gets nice and soggy then put in on the staffs knees.

And after all of that , I had to have a think about what lay before me...and get my priorities in order as I'm a grown up boy now...

Birthday Boy

PART 1

I'm 2 today!

 The stoopid staff forgot my birthday so I've not got me new toy YET... but I managed to make them feel so guilty that they finally let me have the toy I got from Mrs Caroline for Xmas.

Woooof - arr...it aint going to last long in my gnashers!

Gotcha - I knew I'd have that furry fellow caught in the end. No-one get's past Super-Dylan in the end...not even Santa Square Dog !

Part 2: 

I did it - I stared at the staff so balefully this afternoon that I got a birthday treat after all !!

First I went to the pet shop and got lots of treats off the nice staff (they are much nicer than my staff and have never-ending treatbags behind their desks- when I grow up I'm going to get me a job here)

Kibble-licious!

Then I got a special jellystick greenthing- but no matter how much I chew it, it doesn't melt in my mouth - grrr. 

Then I had some updated headshots taken for my portfolio

Then I had a play with my toys

Then I had a sit down

Then I fell asleep... zzzzzz

Then we set off home 

I didn't want to go so I just sat down and refused to move..

But when we finally got there guess what - a BIRTHDAY BONE WAS WAITING FOR ME !

It's Dylan's first birthday !

He's has an unusually mad day - all I can put it down to is an over-enthusiastic approach to his big day. Or maybe it was those orange fishy snacks he had last night.

Age 1 already......remind me, when do they calm down ????

Have you ever seen a dog with such complete disinterest in another dog as this one? This little fella likes only to take his serene daily jog along the surf uninterrupted and simply ignores any distractions, including troublesome birthday boy welsh terriers trying to join in. I think Dylan found this very puzzling ...
